4 FIRES. Tubbs Fire, 34,770 acres. 25% contained. Burning on the northern and eastern flanks of fire. Active fire behavior with backing and flanking. Pocket Fire, 9,996 acres. 5% contained. Active fire behavior overnight on the southern and eastern portions of the fire. This is slope and fuel-driven. Nuns Fire, 44,381 acres. 5% contained. Actively burned overnight and now into heavier fire fuels. Presley Fire, 473 acres. 10% containment. Burning also actively overnight and into heavier fire fuels.
Total acreage scorched is 89,620 acres.
COMMAND. CAL FIRE IMT Team 1 is managing this fire incident.
INCIDENT COOPERATORS include the Sonoma SO, Santa Rosa PD, Sonomoa County OES, CAL OES, PG&E, Red Cross, CHP and CAL TRANS, CA National Guard, Napa County OES, Napa County SO, Lake County SO, Lake County OES, Calistoga FD and the California Conservation Corp.
FIRE RESOURCES. 272 engines, 29 water tenders, 12 helicopters, 6 air tankers, 62 hand crews, 23 dozers, 4 misc. resources and 2,333 personnel.

EVACUEE RESOURCES. Dial 2-1-1 (Sonoma County) to find food, housing, healthcare, senior services, childcare, legal aid and more. Fire Damage Property Tax Relief for 2017-2018. On October 12, 2017, 2320 hours PDT – the County of Sonoma announced are working together on identifying and adjusting property values and tax bills on properties damaged by recent fires in the County. Together, the County Auditors will work with CAL FIRE to ID which properties were damaged. This will occur after all fires are out. MANDATORY EVACUATIONS. Evacuations are in effect for Western Mine Rd and Ida Canyon, Sonoma County east of Old Road Red Hwy on Air Corbett Circle to Faught Rd and Old Red Hwy, Annadel Hghts Woodview Dr, all streets Summerfield Rd to Park Trail Rd, Community of Calistoga, Hwy 128 at the Intersection of Rd 93 and Hwy 29 and North of east Napa St from 4th Street E to the end of E Napa St. (More evacuations and shelter listings available at http://sonomacounty.ca.gov/Public-Safety/)
DAMAGE ASSESSMENTS. There are still 33,943 structures under current threat, which 1,063 structures have been destroyed and 48 damaged.
DEATH TOLL. 17 civilian killed.
FIRE STATS. As of October 11, 2017, there were 170,000 acres burned being fought by 8,000 firefighters, 550 engines, 73 helos and 30 air tankers.
